How it works, in the order it should happen
Four steps. The sequence is the point: anyone who wants you applying for credit before they have priced the job is selling the loan, not the repair. It is also worth a look at the current offers before you borrow anything, since a discount costs less than interest.

Quote before credit
Nobody can sensibly finance a number they do not have yet. We diagnose the problem, quote it flat and in writing, and only then talk about paying for it. Once you agree to that price, it does not go up.

The application is short and usually answered on the spot. The soft check that shows what you qualify for does not affect your credit score.

Read the total, not the monthly
We show you the monthly payment and what the whole thing costs over the term. A small monthly stretched over a long term is how people end up buying one water heater twice.
